Our History

Asiri Food Products is a Sri Lankan partnership company in the food industry. Our history dates back to 1991. We proudly introduce high-quality, healthy, hot and spicy products (Cashew, Gram, Peanut, Mixture, Murukku, Sweet Products, Chips, and bakery products) for our beloved Sri Lankan people. We represent our brand, Asiri Food Products (Pvt) Ltd., as a medium-scale company. After evolving through many years and achieving numerous milestones, our company has grown into a well-established business in Sri Lanka. Currently, our product range includes 30 different types, employing 150 individuals directly, and distributing through an island-wide network covering 10,000 outlets. Legal Status of Our Company: From 1997 to 2000, we operated as an unregistered household business. In 2000, we registered as a sole proprietorship. By 2012, Asiri Food Products evolved into a partnership company under the name Asiri Food Products (Pvt) Ltd. We began in 1991 as a household business. The initial name of the organization was "Asiri Products" in 1997. Initially, we produced only cashew products (Oven Roasted & Devilled) until 1999. In 1997, we registered as an individual business at the Divisional Secretariat Office in Minuwangoda under the name Asiri Products. Over time, we gradually increased our production and sales capacity, improved product quality standards, introduced new products, expanded human capital, and enhanced the company’s assets and infrastructure. Initially, we used manual systems, but we have since transitioned to digital systems,
